Frequently Asked Questions
Questions? We’ve Got Answers.
Can I Repair Rather Than Replace My Roof?
Sometimes, yes. If your shingles are still within their lifespan and the damage is limited, a repair can be the smarter call. We’ll tell you honestly which situation you’re in, because we’d rather save you the money than push you toward a full replacement.
Do You Offer Financing?
Yes. Our partner offers up to $75,000 for qualified homeowners, with no money down, no payments for 90 days, no prepayment penalty, and no lien on your home. Pay in full when we’re done, or spread it out. Your call.
Do You Require A Down Payment?
Never. Summer Breeze has never taken a down payment on any job since we opened in 1998. You pay when the work is finished and your all-inclusive price is honored exactly as quoted.
Do You Use Subcontractors?
Never. Every hand on your roof is a W-2 employee on our own payroll, trained our way and accountable directly to the owner. That consistency is why we can back our workmanship with a 15-year labor warranty.
How Long Will Installation Take?
Most residential replacements are finished in one to two days, weather permitting. Our crews start at sunrise to get ahead of the heat, tarp your property before removing the old roof, and complete a magnetic nail sweep before they leave.
How Much Will A New Roof Cost?
Roof cost depends on the size and slope of your roof, the material you choose, and the condition of what’s underneath. Every Summer Breeze estimate gives you the full number in writing on a single page, with nothing hidden.
How Will I Know When I Need To Replace My Roof?
Most asphalt shingle roofs last 15 to 30 years depending on quality, sun exposure, and how well they were originally installed. If your roof is over 15 years old, or you’re seeing curling shingles, granule loss, missing shingles, or evidence of leaks on your ceiling, it’s time for a professional look.
What Does “All-Inclusive” Actually Include?
Every Summer Breeze estimate includes bad wood replacement, upgraded hurricane straps, ring shank nails, peel and stick underlayment, and full wind mitigation. All of it is priced upfront, so nothing new appears on your invoice once the crew is already on your roof.
What Should I Do To Prepare For Installation?
Park your cars in the street so our trucks can access the driveway and keep pets indoors during the noisier hours. We’ll tarp anything else that needs protecting, from paver driveways to pools without covers.
What Warranties Do You Offer?
Every new roof comes with a 15-year warranty on our labor and a 50-year warranty on Atlas shingles. Every roof is also built for 150 MPH wind protection, which typically lowers your homeowners insurance premium as well.
